Meet Photographer Carol Glazer

Two of Carol Glazer’s great passions in life are wildlife and photography.  Carol has traveled the world to observe animals in their natural environs and has successfully captured the active behaviors as well as emotions of her wild subjects.  In a recent interview, Carol said, “I especially enjoy researching and photographing the interaction between mother animals and their babies.”  Some of her most striking work is seen in the skillful capture of these interactions.

Her vast inventory include images of animals that span the North American continent --
from deer, elk, bison, lynx, coyote, black bear, grizzly bear, (including grizzlies in the Alaskan frontier), to bobcat, wolf, fox, cougar, moose and mountain goat in the Rocky Mountain range. She even has images of alligators from the swamp lands of
Florida

Though originally trained as a nurse practitioner, Carol pursued her passions for over 30 years and today is an award-winning photographer. Carol is an active member of the North American Nature Photographers Association, Florida Professional Photographers, the Yellowstone Association, and the National Wildlife Federation. Carol's photography has blossomed into an educational partnership with the National Park Service.  This partnership will include her images being hung in their museums and reproduced in their brochures.  When not in the wild, Carol resides in Oldsmar, Florida with her photographer husband, Irwin Glazer
